Topic: The lack of activity here is worrisome..

When i first discovered guitar effect ios apps i downloaded all of them to try them out (just the free versions). 

iShred live was one of them, but i didn't use it much because the user interface (the graphical look) did not seem as good as the others and it does not work in landscape mode.

So over time i forgot about it.  I recently purchased a griffin stompbox and rediscovered ishred live because that is the only app that works with it. 

Sound wise it is very good. 

I still would like to see a major graphic update to make it look better. 

I'm also concerned about the lack of activity on these forums. I requested a separate forum for user presets and it was added, but no one else beside me as added presets. I'd love this to be a vibrant community with lots of presets. 

There were a few public presets added but that's it.

I'm sure the developers have presets of their own that they could share beside the ones that come with the app.

With the stompbox out this app should be one of the premiere guitar effects apps but i just don't see the support.  I think the look of it is one of the problems.

Devs, please chime in if i'm off based on this...
And users please post your presets and suggestions. And get the stompbox, it works very well. Once you program what you want it to do it's nice.

Glad you are enjoying iShred LIVE and the new stomp box. We do appreciate the feedback and your support.

We have landscape support on our to-do list for a future version. Which parts of the graphics do you think need to be improved? Effects, menus, other screens?

As for forum activity. Unlike some of our past hardware products (with drivers and so on) in general iOS apps/users seem to have less "real world" activity. Maybe it's the price point: free/$0.99 and they don't expect to get much support? We'd LOVE to have people visit the forums or contact our support instead of leaving a question (and low rating) in the app store, but often they don't and I don't know how to encourage them beyond mentioning it in the store text and website. And please leave a good rating in the store if you are happy with the app!

There was a bug with sharing presets in the previous version, which might be why fewer people are sharing presets. Hopefully they'll update the app and that will change, but sometimes it takes a while before people update or even realize there's an update available.

We've given some thought into having a preset sharing/browsing area within the app itself. Much like the AirPlay feature in iShred and GuitarStudio, which get a lot of activity (there's over 4,000 shared songs).

The presets area needs a graphics update. But overall there could be more detail to all the graphics.

I also think that having more presets per page would be good for us stompbox users so that we don't have to "turn the page" as much when going from preset to preset.
