Topic: I can't find GuitarStudio in the iPhone app store anymore

Hi,

I have owned iShred for about a year and I really like it. Yesterday I had a song in mind that would be better suited for acoustic guitar, so I decided to give GuitarStudio a try and looked it up in the app store (I live in the Netherlands, so that is the Dutch app store).
At first, I could find it after searching for "frontier design", but every time I tapped on GuitarStudio, I got an error message like  "Your request could not be completed" or something of that sort.
I eventually reset my phone because I thought that it was maybe a bit unstable - but then the app had vanished completely from the app store.
After some research, I noticed that iShred was gone, too. Your other apps were still available.

Today I tried in the app store via iTunes - but it is also nowhere to be found in there. If I click the link to the app store on this website, I get the "Your request could not be completed" message again, plus "the item you are looking for is not available in the Dutch app store, but it is available in the US app store. So I click "go to the US app store" and there I get the same error - "Your request could not be completed".

So, is this something that you are aware of, like that these apps have been taken out of the app store? Or is there something wrong with the app store?

Hi Lúthien,

Sorry about the confusion.

Apple reported a bug with the two apps, we fixed it over the weekend and re-submitted them for review. Sometime last night the apps were removed from sale. Since then the updates have been approved, but the app hasn't been added back to the store. Our contact at Apple says they are working to remedy the situation.  Hope to see them both available soon.

Happy to say that sometime overnight GuitarStudio and iShred were put back into the store. Sorry for the inconvenience.

I noticed and got it right away .. happily strumming away now into the distance (possibly silhouetted against the rising full moon)
