We hear you, but working on other projects right now.
Out of curiosity, what don't you like about garage band? Also, how would you envision GuitarStudio working best on the iPad?

if you see your forum banner, you see 5 apps. for the iPad, one.
enable midi editing, audiocopy/audiopaste, additional instruments in-app purchases, auto generation of chord progressions, audio recording, and a beautiful interface.
a full music production suite that rivals garageband.

Well, to be fair we do have two iPad apps (both universal): BeatStudio and iShred LIVE. AudioCopy/Paste is in all of the apps shown above. We also just added SoundCloud uploading and exporting to iTunes in the latest update of iShred & GuitarStudio.
We are in the middle of a pretty big 2.0 update for both GuitarStudio and iShred which addresses the single biggest feature request: ability to have more buttons per song. iShred also adds the ability to map effect presets to buttons.
We're constantly improving all of the apps and trying to satisfy the larger audience of users. There have been a number of requests for iPad support and we've kicked around many ideas and are constantly looking for feedback. It's just a huge project (to do right) which would mean other features would be put on hold ... and not everyone wants an iPad version. A fine balance.
Really appreciate the feedback. Please don't hesitate to let us know what you are looking for, how you might use the app, and any other ideas.
Thanks!

I use Guitar Studio on my iPad all the time. Love it! I've been using it to perform with my daughter. She sings and I'm a bass player in real life, so this app really has opened up possibilities for us to play live. The sound quality and ease of setup and play makes this my favorite guitar app (I have another half dozen) by far.
I'd like to add my voice to the request for an option for more buttons. I use mulitple songs to accomodate more than 10 chords, but there's a bunch of times when having even one extra button would save me some trouble. An option to add one or two more rows of buttons would be awesome. If you could allow some button resizing that would enable more buttons per row, that would be great as well.
Hi DrToons,
First, thanks for the great feedback: we love hearing how/where our apps are being used! If you ever post YouTube videos of your performances we'd love to see and share them.
Second, your wish is granted!
In version 2.0 of Guitar we've come up with a way to have more buttons! You can read about it and see some pics on our new blog:

Testing is wrapping up now, unless some horribly large bug sneaks into the code we should be submitting it for Apple review soon.
