Does anyone have a solution to the lag I'm (and I assuming others are) experiencing when I hook up my iPhone 4 to my mac? I've just started connecting it via a stereo cable out of the headphone jack directly into the back of the computer but I've been looking into some kind of preamp type device. However, I'm not sure what the issue is so that I can "treat" it. Thanks!

When you hook up to your Mac, what software setup are you using to monitor/listen to the input? I assume that the Mac audio in to audio out is the real issue here, but it also depends on what software you are using.
