Topic: Can't add Tranzport

I use Logic Pro 8 on Snow Leopard. the screen is blank with the exception of the battery indicator when I press the battery button, the backlight works and the link led indicator is on. I can see the midi signal being received in Logic but I cant "add" the Tranzport into Logic, I scan the control surfaces and its on the list but when I click Add nothing happens. I do have the plugin in the midi device plugins and in the logic package contents. Does anyone know why this might be?

Hi thr,

Instead of clicking on "scan all models" have you tried clicking on "install.." and then selecting 'TranzPort' from the list?

Yes, it just doesn't add it. You can click on it 1000 times nothing happens. With other ones tho, when you double click it just adds them.Does anyone know what it might be?

Hi thr,

Have you tried deleting your Logic prefs files?
Exit Logic and on your hard drive go here:
(HD/Users/Library/Preferences

com.apple.logic.pro.cs
com.apple.logic.pro.plist

once these are deleted Launch Logic and see if it has added the TranzPort or see if you can manually add it after these files are deleted.
