Topic: Still waiting for new driver?

I use Logic Pro 9.1 in 64bit mode, with which my Alpha Track does not work.  I have been told via email a few weeks ago that FD will know when a driver will be available within a couple of weeks.  I've also read on this forum that the same message was given in March.
Would someone there please give me and others a straight story as to when this driver will be available.
Since I NEED to use Logic in 64bit mode, my Alphatrack continues to be an expensive paperweight.

Hi ilovepunk,

If I could give you a timeline for a driver update I would.  All I can say at this point is that there is no update yet. 

I thought we've responded to this saying that in a couple weeks we would have a more definitive answer as to whether we will proceed with an update or not and unfortunately I may have jumped the gun by mentioning 'a couple weeks' but we're currently uncommitted to it and still don't have a definitive answer.

Hi,

We are now in the process of updating the Mac drivers for TranzPort and AlphaTrack so they can be used in the 64-Bit kernel.  Check back periodically to our downloads page for the update:

I'm making my rounds to let everyone know that updated drivers (now supporting the 64-Bit kernel) are now available for AlphaTrack (v1.4) and TranzPort (v1.4.3) on our site:
